A young lady confidently walked around the room while leading and explaining stress management to an audience; with a raised glass of water, and everyone knew she was going to ask the ultimate question, 'half empty or half full?'..... she fooled them all... "How heavy is this glass of water?", she inquired with a smile. Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem.  If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. In each case it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "and that's the way it is with stress. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on."

"As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.  When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden - holding stress longer and better each time practiced. So, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don't carry them through the evening and into the night... pick them up tomorrow.

Here is another post organized by the friend who interviewed me.  It's very nicely put together, though you guys may enjoy it.  It shows someone is better writer than me. (LOL)  If you were interested in her writing, check her out on soulspiration

So in my next interview segment with Joanne, I asked her if “doomsday” is actually just around the corner.  For those who are still not aware; briefly, the end of 2012 supposedly marks the end of the world according the ancient Mayan calendar.  Many people are curious if this is true.  In fact, books and movies have been released just on 2012.  So I had to ask her to dispel this fear.

As per Joanne, the physical world will not come to an end but she is confident that there will be a new world emerging.  It will be more of a conscious and spiritual evolution of the human race.  At one point in human history, people actually lived more in sync with the world/universe and each other.  As humans evolved, they became more individualistic.  Also, as technology improved, we no longer had to rely on our other senses that connect us to the earth so most of those senses eventually diminished.  We dominated the world thinking (and still think) that we are at the top of the hierarchy of life and this earth is meant for us to take from; that in order to be better human beings, we needed more food, more money, cars, or other material things.  That In order to be happy, we needed drugs or alcohol or food.  In order for self-preservation, it was every man for himself and that we should reap more than we could sow to stay ahead.

Joanne explains it is that type of belief that is going to change.  In fact, she says it is already changing.  She can feel this energy getting stronger – that people’s awareness is shifting rapidly.  People are already evolving to be more of a universal citizen – that we are in fact all connected to everyone and everything; that what we do here creates a ripple effect on earth or the universe.  Many have already realized that we, in fact, live as interconnectedly as the Na’vi people in Pandora (it’s not just a movie afterall!) - that any goodness that we create restores goodness throughout the earth and what we destroy creates destruction throughout the earth.

Here is another post Christian shared with me, and I thought it's interesting enough to share with you all.

41 Things I've Learned By 40
http://thomsinger.blogspot.com/2006/06/41-things-ive-learned-by-40.html (Original Post)

41. Don't worry too much about what others think about you.
40. Everyone has an ego. Tread lightly as to not bruise them.

Some note I read on facebook.  Interesting. thought I share with you all.

The Rules for Being Human

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a fulltime informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works."

Here are some questions about dreams from a friend who was working on a more descriptive post.  I am sure her post will be more detailed than mine.  But though I share with you all now since I am too lazy to type again.  But do check on her post later when it is on.  Soulspiration

1. so is there such a thing as just a dream? i'm sure have many dreams in one sleep.  Do they all signify something?

There is such a thing as just a dream . which often occurs when you heard or saw something that trigger your curiosity that make you want to find out more about that.  In that case, you sense will be wondering around to gather similar information to feed your need when you are asleep.
1(a), regarding your accesing your database dreams, since it's not a life lesson or message so to speak, is it more like resolving past life issue so that feeling doesn't always resurface. or so that your soul can heal fr it?
not resolving, but reminding.  you subconscious will often pull out one of your similar memory to test what you will do any different as current identity.  Sometimes, we will find out a different way to deal with the same fear, which later one will be able to apply on their 'REAL' life.  Past life Issue don't occur unless it was triggered in your real life.  and yes, if you figure out a way or some sort of understanding, through practicing it in life, you can always heal from it.

This is something that happened yesterday.

during the lunch time while everyone was sitting on the dinning table and ate our lunch, Christian happened to read a piece of papper from the folder Max brought home day ago.

After reading the paper written by Max, we turned to Max and asked:  Max, Do you dream about eating this Sundae a lot?

Max took a glance of it and shook his head with indifference.

So we asked: why do you never tell us about it?

Under reincarnation, learning how to love yourself is definitely a very important task of life.

But what I found strange was that whenever I told people to love themselves more, their first reaction was that they should go for a SPA, buy something they usually wouldn't buy, go for a great meal, or travel around the world etc.

I didn't say that doing everything above was wrong, but the intention of doing so was definitely not correct.

Does it have to be so "materialistic" when it come to loving yourself?

Our society was impacted by materials so much that our happiness was often depended on the material.  Therefore, we forget how to love ourself without any materials.
